Our epoxy-coated aluminum foil adopts a three-layer composite structure of substrate-conversion layer-epoxy coating. Each layer is precisely designed and strictly controlled to form all-round protection from the foundation to the surface.

– The base material is 8011-H22 alloy aluminum foil, in which the Fe content is controlled at 0.7-1.3% and the Si content is 0.6-1.0%. It not only ensures a high thermal conductivity of 190W/m·K, but also has excellent formability, which can meet the complex needs of condenser fin stamping. The thickness tolerance is strictly controlled within ±2μm to ensure subsequent processing accuracy.

– The chemical conversion layer undergoes chromate/chromium-free passivation treatment to form a dense oxide film of 0.2-0.5 μm, which greatly improves the adhesion between the coating and the substrate. It can reach level 0 standards through the 100-grid test, laying a solid foundation for subsequent anti-corrosion protection.

– The epoxy coating system is divided into a bottom layer and a top layer. The bottom layer uses a water-based epoxy primer with a film thickness of 1.5-2.0 μm. A modified amine curing agent is added with a curing degree of ≥95%. Its main function is to provide basic anti-corrosion performance and further enhance adhesion. The top layer is a weather-resistant epoxy topcoat with a film thickness of 2.0-3.0 μm. Nano-scale anti-rust pigments are added. Tested according to ASTM B117 standards, salt spray protection can last up to 1000-2000 hours. This composite structure enables the product to perform excellently in harsh environments such as coastal high salt spray and industrial waste gas, and its service life is 3-5 times that of ordinary coated aluminum foil.

The thickness of the aluminum foil is controlled at 0.08-0.2mm, and the tolerance is accurate to ±2μm, which is suitable for the stamping needs of various condenser fins such as household air conditioners and commercial chillers;

The total thickness of the coating is 3.5-5.0μm, with a tolerance of ±0.3μm, which can meet the requirements of different anti-corrosion levels of C3-C5.

The width of aluminum foil is 500-1250mm, the tolerance is ±1mm, and it can be adapted to fin molds of different specifications.

The roll diameter can be customized according to the customer’s automated production line requirements, ranging from 750-1500mm.

In addition, the tensile strength of the product is stable at 130-160MPa, and the elongation is ≥8%, which can ensure no breakage during the fin stamping process and smooth molding, meeting complex molding needs.


Based on customer data and our many years of production experience, anti-corrosion epoxy coated aluminum foil for condensers has five core advantages, taking into account both anti-corrosion performance and user experience.

First, it has the ultimate anti-corrosion performance and has no corrosion points through the 1000-hour neutral salt spray test (35°C, 5% NaCl). In coastal projects in Southeast Asia, it can extend the life of the condenser from 3 years to more than 8 years, significantly reducing equipment maintenance costs, and reducing maintenance costs by 60% compared with traditional products.

Secondly, to ensure the heat exchange efficiency, the thermal resistance of the coating is ≤0.0001m²·K/W, and the impact on the overall heat exchange efficiency of the condenser is less than 2%, which is far better than the industry average, and avoids the coating affecting the equipment operating efficiency.

Third, it has excellent molding and chemical resistance. The coating adhesion reaches the 100/100 standard. The fins are not peeled off or damaged after stamping. There is no abnormality after being soaked in 20% NaOH solution for 5 minutes. It can meet the requirements of the conventional cleaning process of the condenser and does not affect the service life of the product.

Fourth, the production process is stable. We use a coating line imported from Germany. The curing temperature is controlled at 180℃±5℃, and the production speed is 60-80m/min. The entire process is precisely controlled to ensure consistent performance of each roll of products. The annual production capacity reaches 8,000 tons, which can stably supply customers around the world.

Fifth, full-process quality control, from the procurement of aluminum foil substrates to the delivery of finished products, goes through 12 testing procedures, covering key indicators such as coating thickness, adhesion, salt spray testing, etc., and key indicators are 100% online tested. All exported products come with SGS/Intertek third-party certification, complying with EU RoHS and American ASTM standards, ensuring product compliance.
